Shipping Policy

Shipping is available nationwide and shipping costs are not included. As every order is unique, the delivery costs will vary depending on the size and nature of the item. The total cost will be calculated at checkout. Alternatively, our pieces are always available for local pick up in Kwa-Zulu Natal if you’re in the same location and prefer to pick the item up yourself.

We work with preferred third-party shipping suppliers. If you prefer, you may use your own shipping method or transport. Once you’ve made your purchase, get in touch with us via info@thethriftyduo.co.za to make arrangements for collection. You must collect your new prized possession within four weeks of purchase. If the item has not been collected within this time frame, the item will be re-listed for sale. Only once the item has been sold, 50% of the relisted price will be refunded.

To ensure the safe transport of all goods to areas outside our delivery zone, THE THRIFTY DUO( PTY)  extensively wraps each item before collection by the third-party shipping supplier. Please note that shipping glass carriers a higher risk over long distances, and we recommend collection when possible.

Please note that THE THRIFTY DUO( PTY) cannot be held responsible for any damage once the item/s leave our premises as they are being delivered by a third-party.

All items purchased must be collected or shipped within seven days of purchase unless otherwise agreed between parties. If no communication is received, and/or no agreement on storage is reached between both parties, and goods are not collected within a four-week period, the goods will be re-listed for sale. If a refund is due after the successful sale, a deduction of 40% of the re-listed selling price will apply to cover admin fees, packaging fees, bank fees, online fees, and storage space.
