Duros Mid Century Sideboard

Impeccable Duros mid-century modern sideboard featuring exquisite woodgrain and handle designs, exuding sophistication with its tapered legs and rich teak hues. This statement piece offers three drawers, two cabinets, and an open shelf, seamlessly combining style and functionality. Additionally, it features an untouched backboard, enabling versatile display from all angles, diverging from the conventional backing typically seen in similar pieces.

Through meticulous restoration, layers of generational paint were carefully removed, unveiling the stunning teak grain beneath. The process involved thorough stripping, sanding, and sealing with a matte oil finish, ensuring lasting beauty and resilience. While exhibiting minor age-related wear, such as occasional dings, its allure remains undiminished. Note that the left open shelf was originally a cabinet, lost through generations.
